| Teneros Selected to Launch at DEMOfall 2005
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA —August 19, 2005— The organizers
of DEMOfall 2005 have selected Teneros, Inc. to showcase
their new appliance for Microsoft® Exchange. The Teneros
technology supports Microsoft Exchange servers, ensuring
continuous, 24/7 Exchange operation for end-users. Specific
details about the technology will be announced on September
19th at the elite conference, which takes place in Huntington
Beach, Calif.
“Launching our appliance at a high-profile, invitation-only
event like DEMOfall is a wonderful opportunity to show how
we can protect mid-market companies and field offices of
large enterprises that rely on Microsoft Exchange from devastating
email outages,” said Steve Lewis, chief executive officer
of Teneros. “We’re looking forward to demonstrating
how simple and affordable zero-downtime can be.”
“Teneros
has exactly the kind of cutting-edge technology that we look
for at DEMO,” said Chris Shipley, executive
producer of DEMO conferences. “It is well understood
that email is mission-critical to the productivity of any
business, but so far we have not seen a viable continuity
solution that allows mid-market companies to keep email up
and running 24/7. By providing 99.99 percent availability
in an affordable, plug-and-go appliance, we look forward
to seeing Teneros change that situation.”
In preparation
for the launch, Teneros is recruiting Microsoft-certified
system integrators in major metropolitan areas worldwide
for the company’s strategic partner channel program.
The company has secured $24.5 million in venture funding
to support this and other business development and marketing
efforts.
