 How Does It Work?
With the NComputing solution, each user still has their own monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. However, instead of connecting directly to a PC, these peripherals connect to a small NComputing access terminal on their desk. The access terminals then connect either directly (X-series) or over Ethernet (L-series) to the terminal services software using the high-performance User eXtension Protocol (UXP).

The NComputing terminal services software divides the PC's resources into independent sessions that give each user their own full PC experience. By delivering all of the key components of the solution including the access terminal, extension technology and terminal services software, NComputing uniquely delivers a high performance solution at the lowest cost. Factory
When using a computer in a factory environment for analysis and reporting of information. When a PC is purchased and installed to carry out simple business in a factory unnecessary cost and maintenance fees are generated.
When the use of multi-user terminals is implemented in this environment unnecessary cost would be eliminated. In the case of factory that the clean environments such as constant temperature and humidity, dust free and so on are necessary, using the multi user terminal is essential for the prevention of environmental risks such as temperature changes, minute dust caused by using PC. Also, multi user terminal in a rest room, a reception room within factory can get the more peoples to utilize computing environment conveniently.
Call Center
Several X300 Host PCs are connected with a DB server in an intranet environment. Each X300 Host PC is connected to X300 Multi Boxes and USB external audioadapter by the feature of USB port assignment provided by Xtenda X300 terminal server S/W.
With this configuration, small & medium sized call center systems can be installed with a much lower investment
In a call center, the majority of tasks are comprised of speaking with a customer and logging information regarding the call. In cases such as this, it can be advantageous to use a multi user terminal allowing the current resources to be optimized. Multi-user terminals give the ability to give ten separate employees access to one computer using all the same software to access the same databases simultaneously and independently.
AD Center
Download any updated new AD contents to the local Host PC from AD Contents DB Server through the internet while the store is in its after hours timeframe. The contents saved on Host PC are separately displayed on each monitor by scheduler S/W that is pre-configured by administrators for each UTMA terminal.
Depending on the condition of the location, contents, budget and network environment, people can use different NComputing solutions for different needs. The NComputing UTMA terminal for AD solutions can provide cost savings, and lowered efforts from maintenance, central management and variable network environments.
